ACE FREHLEY Columbus Anomaly

I snapped a couple shots of Ace and his (then) new band in Columbus, Ohio November 12th, 2009 just after Anomaly came out. Only tidbit, besides driving from Cincinnati to see the show alone, was that I found a place out back to have a smoke pre-show and right as I lit up a van pulled up in the adjacent alley way. Ace hopped out and gave a peace sign to the few of us standing there in the cold. It was dark. He was wearing sunglasses. We we’re all like ‘ACE!! ROCK & ROLL!!”  I think Ace dug the venue. The band and the sound was excellent at the Newport Music Hall that night and he seemed into it the whole show. Sometimes he loses interest and …..um, spaces out a bit.
